The stone statue represents Saint Florian wearing Roman armor and stands on a pedestal with inscriptions from the year 1737.
The statue underwent extensive restoration between 2021 and 2022, which revealed multiple historical paint layers and confirmed its baroque sculptural origins.
Saint Florian serves as the patron saint of firefighters, rescuers, bakers, potters, and protects against crop failure and war threats.
The monument is accessible year-round, with visitors finding parking spaces and information about guided tours at the Vítkov tourism office.
During the construction of local sewerage systems, the statue was carefully relocated several meters from its original position to a demolished house site.
