Lannova loděnice, Historical shipyard in Čtyři Dvory, České Budějovice, Czech Republic.
Lannova loděnice is a protected shipyard complex along the Vltava River comprising three historic structures: a residential house, the former shipyard building, and a garden house with orangery. The buildings occupy the riverside setting and form a connected group of structures from different periods.
The shipyard began operations around 1550 and eventually ceased work in 1890 after several centuries of operation. The facility reached its peak output during the mid-19th century as one of the city's major producers.
The brick building was donated to the Lanna Foundation for Orphans in 1908 and now serves as a center for people with disabilities. The site continues to function as a protected monument while taking on a modern social purpose.
The facility sits directly on the Vltava River and provides a public dock for boats and vessels of various sizes. Visitors should note that the grounds are a protected monument and currently function mainly as a social service facility.
In 1835, owner Vojtěch Lanna commissioned a ceremonial arch with a tall obelisk to commemorate an imperial visit. This protected monument still stands on the grounds today and marks the site's historical importance.
