Zvonice

Zvonice is a wooden bell tower built in the Gothic style, with its frame constructed from substantial oak beams and traditional architectural details. The structure displays the craftsmanship and design principles typical of the period.

This tower was built during the 15th century and maintained its original purpose through the centuries that followed. The structure experienced significant losses when bells were removed during both world wars for military metal.

This wooden structure holds meaning for the local community as a gathering point and represents the craftsmanship practices passed down through generations.

The interior is closed to the public, but the exterior provides good opportunities for photography and observation of the architectural details. Walking around the tower from different angles reveals its proportions and construction techniques.

A single small bell remains inside this tower, having survived the metal requisitions of two world wars. This bell is a quiet reminder of how some local traditions persisted through difficult periods.
