Čížovka, Observation tower in Čížovka, Mladá Boleslav District, Czech Republic

Čížovka is an observation tower on the southern edge of the village of Čížovka in the Mladá Boleslav district, at 320 m above sea level. Its viewing platform sits on the fourth floor, and two balconies jut out from it with fully glazed, transparent floors. The tower stands directly by the Malobratřice–Čížovka road.

Construction of the tower began in 2012, but land-ownership problems after a revision of the civil code, the refusal of subsidies and the collapse of the building contractor delayed completion until 2017. It was ceremonially opened on 28 February 2017.

The tower's name comes from the village of Čížovka, which lies just north of it in the Mladá Boleslav district. Its two projecting balconies on the fourth-floor viewing deck have fully glazed transparent floors, a detail visitors step onto rather than simply look at.

The tower stands right by the road from Malobratřice to Čížovka, a turn-off from road II/268; the nearest bus stop is about 300 m towards Kamenice. Cycling route No. 8150 runs along the adjacent road. It is open from April to November.

The tower's two balconies jut out from the fourth-floor viewing platform and have fully glazed, transparent floors, so visitors standing on them look straight down to the ground below. The structure stands at 320 m above sea level just south of Čížovka village in the Mladá Boleslav district.
