Salingburg is a romantic pseudo-Gothic lookout tower built in 1906 from quarry stone, designed by Františkovy Lázně architect Gustav Wiedermann to resemble a small medieval castle. It has two unroofed towers; the taller one, topped with crenellations, carries the viewing gallery. In the lower part of the shorter tower sits a small fountain with a seated little boy.

Salingburg was built in 1906 for the 500th anniversary of the first written mention of the mineral springs around Františkovy Lázně. The spa town's council and a local beautification society initiated it, and some residents contributed money. Until then Františkovy Lázně, unlike the other spa towns of the West Bohemian spa triangle, had no tower of this kind. The local architect and builder Gustav Wiedermann designed it, and it opened on 7 September 1906.

The name Salingburg comes from Saling, the old name for the local mineral springs. Legend says the spirit of the Františkovy Lázně springs, Salinger, resides in the tower. A small fountain with a seated boy sits at the base of the lower tower.

Salingburg stands about one kilometre south-east of the spa centre, reachable on park paths; a car can be driven close and parked in Slatina by the Pyramida hotel. The nearest railway station is in Františkovy Lázně, roughly 2 km away, and signposts showing the tower mark the way. The view from the top is very limited: the tower is low and surrounding trees block most of it, leaving only a few hills of the Smrčiny near Skalná and Luby visible to the north.

The lower of the two roofless towers holds a small fountain with a seated little boy at its base. The lookout gallery sits atop the taller tower, which is finished with crenellations. The structure is built of quarry stone in a romantic pseudo-Gothic style recalling a medieval castle.
