The red brick building features traditional Czech architectural elements, including a steep-pitched roof and decorative window frames characteristic of industrial structures from the 1800s.
Established in 1721 near Janovice Castle, the brewery operated under the Harrach family's ownership until 1946 when it ceased production following a Ministry of Agriculture decree.
The brewery represents the strong connection between Czech nobility and beer production, as the Harrach family maintained brewing traditions for generations in this region.
The former brewery stands at coordinates 49.946667, 17.25, and while the building is not open to visitors, its exterior remains visible from public areas.
From 1946 to 1948, the brewery building served as a seed cleaning facility before closing permanently on January 1, 1970.
