Gallas and Clam-Gallas Vault

The Gallas and Clam-Gallas Vault in the Basilica is a stone burial chamber decorated with carved details and serves as the final resting place for members of both noble families. The structure displays ornamental stonework and was designed as a lasting monument to these aristocratic lineages.

The vault was created as the two noble families expanded their power in Northern Bohemia and strengthened their ties to the Basilica. Over time, it remained an important burial place for successive generations of these influential families.
