Tvrz Lipina, Fortified house in Staříč, Czech Republic
The central mound of Tvrz Lipina rises from the meadow, encircled by a visible ditch that marks the boundaries of this medieval structure.
Archaeological findings suggest the fortified house was built in the 14th century and became part of the Brumov estate by 1422, before its abandonment.
Brothers Jan and Mikuláš Onšík occupied this fortress during the early 15th century, participating in regional politics through letters to Constance.

The southwestern side of the fortification displays the most pronounced remains of the original structure, providing evidence of medieval construction techniques.
