Novy Tabor was a fortified settlement of the Hussites on the Morava River near Nedakonice, founded around 1420 and built mainly from wood and clay. The complex was located on an island surrounded by wetlands and served as a base for military operations throughout the region.
The settlement was founded around 1420 by radical Hussites and quickly became a center for military operations in Moravia. It was attacked and destroyed by royal forces under Sigismund in 1421, leading to the decline of Hussitism in the region.
