Naučná stezka Zapomenuté osudy

The Zapomenuté osudy trail is an educational path with multiple information panels positioned throughout the Ratiboř region that guide visitors across the landscape. Individual stations are spaced along a route and can be easily located using digital mapping tools.

The trail began in 2019 with the installation of the first information panel and documents significant moments from the recent history of the region, particularly from World War II. These periods left deep marks on both the landscape and the collective memory of the area.

The trail tells stories of people and events that shaped life in this region and whose memories might otherwise be lost. Local communities have gathered photographs, newspaper clippings, and accounts to keep these memories alive for visitors.

The trail is navigable using digital mapping services like mapy.cz, where each stop is marked and clearly located. Visitors should wear comfortable clothing and sturdy shoes as the route passes through varying terrain.

Along the route stand memorial stones marking locations where significant historical events took place and people lost their lives. These markers help visitors connect directly with the tangible history of the place.
