Křišťálová studánka

Křišťálová studánka is a natural spring in the forest near Slavkov, protected by a stone well structure that gathers the water as it emerges from the ground. The clear water feeds a small stream that flows into the surrounding landscape.

The spring has been known for centuries and was used by local people for water supply. Over time, it was equipped with a well structure to better protect the water and make it more accessible.

Czech poet Josef Václav Sládek incorporated references to this type of spring in his nature-focused poem 'Lesní studánka' about forest water sources.

You can reach the spring by walking on a forest path that starts from nearby Road 360. Parking is available for cars and bicycles in the area.

The water flows into a stream that is part of a larger water system in the region. The spring sits at about 700 meters elevation and contributes to the local watershed network.
