Gen. John Stark House, Historical house museum in Manchester, United States.
The Gen. John Stark House stands as a single-story Cape style farmhouse with a center-chimney plan, narrow entrance vestibule, and adjoining parlors.
Built in 1736 by Archibald Stark, this residence housed Revolutionary War General John Stark and his wife Molly until 1765, where two of their children were born.
The Daughters of the American Revolution maintain the house as a museum, preserving materials and artifacts that document early American residential life.
Located at 2000 Elm Street, the house accepts only cash payments and requires visitors to verify opening hours before planning their visit.
The structure was moved in 1968 to its current location on a portion of the original 800-acre Stark farm, maintaining its connection to the family land.
