The Chester Valentine House features an L-shaped structure with diamond-pane casement windows, gabled entrance, and a brick and stone chimney at Lake Street.
Built in 1932 as a Sears kit house model Strathmore, this residence received recognition on the National Register of Historic Places in February 2015.
The house stands as an example of mail-order catalog homes that made residential architecture accessible to Americans during the early twentieth century.
