The U.M. Rose School stands at the intersection of Izard and West 13th Streets, featuring a two-story U-shaped brick structure with Colonial Revival architecture.
Constructed in 1915 by Arkansas architect Charles L. Thompson, the school received recognition on the National Register of Historic Places in December 1988.
The building now operates as the James M. Cox Administration Building within Philander Smith College, contributing to the educational development of Arkansas students.
