Evanston Civic Center, Georgian architecture civic center in Evanston, United States.

The three-story brick building features limestone details, classical pilasters, and symmetrical windows arranged across its Georgian Revival exterior at 2100 Ridge Avenue.

Originally constructed in 1900 as Visitation Academy, the structure transformed from a Catholic girls' school to Marywood Academy before becoming Evanston's municipal center.

The National Register of Historic Places recognizes this building for its architectural merit and its evolution from educational institution to governmental center.

The civic center houses municipal departments, administrative offices, and meeting spaces where residents access city services and attend public gatherings.

Despite renovation costs reaching 63 million dollars in recent assessments, the building maintains its position as Evanston's administrative headquarters through 2024.
