The National Zoo of Malaysia is a popular zoological park spreading over 110 acres, located in Ulu Klang, Kuala Lumpur.
Founded in 1963, it was officially opened on 14 November by the country's first prime minister, Tunku Abdul Rahman.

It has over 4000 animals from more than 476 species of mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and fish.
The zoo includes the world's largest aviary walk-in free-flight and features Malayan tigers, orangutans, Asian elephants, and many other creatures native to Southeast Asia.
