Jalan Baru Sri Muniswarar Temple is a Hindu temple in Jalan Baru, Perai, Penang, dedicated to Muniswarar. It began as a small attap hut without cement flooring, piped water or electricity. The main altar holds Sri Muniandy, Sri Ganesha and Lord Muruga; in front stands Madurai Veeran with an "Arivaal" sword in one hand, flanked by two white horses and a dog.

Indian immigrants working for the East India Company established this religious center in the 1870s, initially naming it Sri Muniandy Temple. It later developed into an important spiritual hub for the Indian community in the region.

Devotees fulfil vows with offerings: some bring prasatham, others donate live cockerels or goats, and some sacrifice the animals in a padaiyal rite. The non-vegetarian offering is made to Lord Madurai Veeran, whose shrine shows him with an arivaal sword, two white horses and a dog.
