National Automobile Museum

The National Automobile Museum in Encamp displays around 80 cars, approximately 60 motorcycles, and about 100 bicycles in its exhibition halls. The collection allows visitors to examine these vehicles in detail across the available space.

The collection begins with a steam engine from 1885 and traces how transportation technology evolved over the following decades. It records the transformation of vehicles from early mechanical designs through to 20th-century models.

The founder Andreu Claret Casadessús became known for clearing snow during Barcelona's harsh 1962 winter. His personal passion for vehicles shaped how this collection tells stories of individual ambition and mechanical interests.
