The Louvre Abu Dhabi is an art and civilization museum, located in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Opened on November 8, 2017, it is part of a thirty-year agreement between the city of Abu Dhabi and the French government.
The museum collection is universal and covers major periods from all over the world including archaeological pieces, decorative arts, fine arts, and ethnographic objects.
The museum is open from Saturday to Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and on Thursday and Friday from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
It is the first museum of its kind in the Arab world: a universal museum that focuses on shared human stories across civilizations and cultures.
