Teatro Cariola contains two performance halls: the main Carlos Cariola hall with 1170 seats and the underground Alejandro Flores hall with 145 seats.
The theater opened on March 19, 1954, with the play 'Qué vergüenza para la familia' written by Carlos Cariola, and received national monument status in 2013.
The theater holds a library containing over 1000 original theatrical scripts dating back to 1915, preserving Chilean dramatic heritage.
The venue currently operates under Kangabeast Digital management, offering space for concerts, theatrical performances, and cultural events with a maximum capacity of 1800 attendees.
The theater building spans five floors and features architectural elements such as a double-height curtain and an orchestra pit within its protected area of 1328 square meters.
