Puyupatamarca, Inca site in Peru
Puyupatamarca is one of the most intact and complete ruins along the Inca Trail.
It was likely constructed during the reign of Pachacuti, the ninth Sapa Inca.
The name 'Puyupatamarca' means 'town above the clouds' in Quechua.
Tourists can visit Puyupatamarca as part of a four-day hiking route.
