Castle of Chancay, Medieval palace in Chancay, Peru.

The Castle of Chancay extends over 2200 square meters with ten halls, 250 rooms, twelve terraces, and four towers facing the Pacific Ocean.

Consuelo Amat y León initiated the construction of the castle in 1922, completing the project in 1935 as a memorial to her late husband Rómulo Boggio.

The Archaeological Museum within the castle exhibits artifacts from the pre-Inca Chancay culture, which flourished between 1200 and 1470 CE.

The castle operates daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with general admission at 30 soles for adults and 15 soles for children on weekdays.
