Huaca del Sol, Archaeological site in Peru
The Huacas del Sol y de la Luna are two large pyramids in Trujillo, Peru.
Built by the Moche culture, the Huaca del Sol was once the largest pre-Columbian structure in Peru.
These pyramids were important religious and administrative centers for the Moche people.
Today, they are a popular tourist destination and archaeological site.
The Huaca del Sol is made up of over 140 million adobe bricks.
