Santa Teresita

Santa Teresita is a coastal village in La Costa Partido featuring wide sandy beaches and a concrete pier facing the ocean. The settlement sits at approximately 6 meters elevation and includes an airfield that serves the local area.

The village was founded in 1946 by the Santa Teresita Development Association under José Milano's leadership, who oversaw construction of roads and utilities. These formative years shaped the settlement's growth along the coast.

The village maintains strong connections with the National University of Mar del Plata, offering distance learning programs to residents since 2007.

The village is accessible via Highways 11 and 63 with accommodation options ranging from hotels to camping sites and vacation rentals. Visitors can find lodging suited to different budgets and lengths of stay.
