Parque de la Costa

Parque de la Costa is an amusement park in Tigre, Argentina, with roller coasters, water rides, and attractions for all ages. The complex stretches along the riverbank and divides into several themed areas with playgrounds, restaurants, and performance venues.

The park opened in 1997 as the first large facility of this kind in Argentina. Since then, new rides and sections have been added while the core concept of waterside entertainment has remained.

The name refers to the coastal position along the river, which still shapes the experience today. Visitors can see boats moving through the channels from many points and feel the connection between park entertainment and the waterway landscape.

Visitors arriving by train from Buenos Aires get off in Tigre and walk about four blocks along Avenida General Mitre to reach the entrance. Weekends and holiday periods bring larger crowds, so weekdays offer shorter wait times at the rides.

Some roller coasters run close to the riverbank, so riders can see the water and passing boats during the ride. This combination of speed and delta views makes the experience unusual for an inland amusement park.
