Lezama Park, Public park in San Telmo, Argentina.
The park features walking paths, a rose garden, rows of tipa and jacaranda trees, complemented by sculptures and a central esplanade.
The land was purchased by Manuel Gallego y Valcárcel in 1790, later transformed by Charles Ridgley Horne who constructed a baroque mansion.
The National Museum of History, established in 1897 within the former mansion, displays exhibits chronicling Argentina's past through artifacts and documents.
The park contains multiple entrances, including the Lions Gate, with access to refreshment kiosks, benches, and public restroom facilities.
The eastern slope of the park marks the location where Pedro de Mendoza attempted the first settlement of Buenos Aires in 1536.
