Las Toninas, Coastal village in La Costa Partido, Argentina
Located 17 meters above sea level, Las Toninas extends along the Atlantic Ocean with extensive beaches of fine sand and natural dunes.
The settlement originated in 1883 when a British captain established Estancia Los Ingleses after his vessel shipwrecked near the current village location.
The local beach activities center around tejo competitions, angling tournaments, and morning fishing sessions that bring the community together throughout summer.
The urban layout follows a numbered street system, with even-numbered roads running parallel to the waterfront and Street 7 connecting to Santa Teresita.
