Casa de las Culturas is a cultural center in Resistencia with multiple exhibition rooms, an auditorium, and spaces dedicated to artistic activities. The building features flexible display areas that adapt to various forms of art and cultural presentations.

In November 2008 Governor Jorge Capitanich opened the tender for a Museum of Fine Arts, and the city of Resistencia made the name "Casa de la Cultura del Chaco" a condition of the land transfer. The budget reached 17,284,553 pesos, and the building was inaugurated on 19 December 2010 with the national premiere of "Coral Terrestre" by Armando Tejada Gómez and Naldo Labrín, performed by 52 singers and musicians with the Ballet Contemporáneo del Chaco. Full operation began on 1 February 2011.

The building is named Casa de las Culturas, a condition set by the Resistencia municipality when it ceded the land for the MUBA. Its ground-floor bar is called "Posada de Artistas", and the fourth floor houses the SADE Chaco meeting room alongside the Chaco TV and Radio Provincia studios. The inaugural gala on 19 December 2010 featured tenor Fernando Lima with Canadian soprano Sarena Paton.

The building has five floors served by three lifts; the ground-floor hall holds about 150 people and leads to exhibition room No. 1 and the "Posada de Artistas" bar. The 348-seat auditorium and the ballet rehearsal room are on the first floor, the symphony orchestra's acoustically treated rehearsal room on the second. Parking is provided for ten cars and two transport vans.

The building uses a mobile panel system in its exhibition areas that allows curators to reconfigure spaces quickly. This flexible design enables completely different art exhibitions or display formats to be shown back-to-back.
