Araucária

Araucária is an industrial municipality in the metropolitan area of Curitiba within Paraná state, encompassing residential neighborhoods and commercial zones. The city has schools, services, and various facilities distributed across its terrain to serve the population.

The area grew from an earlier settlement called Tindiqüera and received official recognition as a municipality in 1890. This founding period marked the beginning of organized urban development in the region.
