Estádio Couto Pereira is Coritiba Foot Ball Club's stadium in Alto da Glória, Curitiba, with an official capacity of 40,502. Its pitch measures 105 x 68 m and is bordered by a moat built in 1988; two tiers of green seats and a metal floodlight tower rise above the perimeter boards.
Major Antônio Couto Pereira bought the 36,300 m² plot in Alto da Glória in 1927 for a hundred contos de réis, and the stadium opened on 20 November 1932 as Estádio Belfort Duarte, with Coritiba beating América 4–2 and Gildo scoring the first goal. Floodlights followed in 1942, and on 28 February 1977 a general assembly renamed the ground after Couto Pereira, who had died in November 1976.
Fans call the ground "Couto", and the organized supporters' banner reading "TORCIDA ORGANIZADA IMPERIO ALVIVERDE" hangs across the front of the tiered stand. The name honors Major Antônio Couto Pereira, club president in 1926, 1927 and 1930–1933, who bought the Alto da Glória plot and began construction; the stadium carried the provisional name Belfort Duarte for 45 years until the 1977 renaming.
The stadium is in Alto da Glória, not the centre, beside the Protestant cemetery. Access is via Mauá Street, where the Pro-Tork sector and a new exit at the back curve were opened. There are 400 parking spaces, 43 restrooms, 20 snack bars and elevators for press and authorities to the upper seats.
The ground's all-time attendance record was set on 5 August 1980, when 70,000 people filled it to see Pope John Paul II; the football record came on 15 May 1983, when 67,391 watched Atlético Paranaense play Flamengo. Since 2023 the venue has also hosted stadium concerts, including Coldplay's two nights in March 2023.
