Morrinhos is a municipality in southern Goiás with rolling hills throughout the landscape, three of which stand out: Morro do Ovo, Morro da Cruz, and Morro da Saudade. The terrain spans a broad area characterized by these distinctive natural formations and varied topography.
The area was first settled in the early 1600s when farmer Antonio Corrêa Bueno and his brothers arrived, drawn by the fertile soil. Their arrival marked the beginning of permanent settlement in the region.
