Sala Minas Gerais is a concert hall in the Barro Preto district with seating for over 1,400 visitors. The space features modern acoustic architecture with adjustable ceiling reflectors and curved walls designed to deliver excellent sound quality throughout the venue.

The Philharmonic Orchestra of Minas Gerais initiated the project in 2008, with construction beginning in 2013. The venue officially opened in February 2015.

The venue serves as a gathering place for music lovers and a center for artistic performances in the city. Visitors can experience a range of concerts and exhibitions that shape the cultural life of the region.

The hall stands on a state-owned block in Barro Preto, a central borough of Belo Horizonte, within the Centro de Cultura Presidente Itamar Franco. The complex is permeated by a large public square, and a heritage-listed mansion there houses Mineiraria, dedicated to typical Minas Gerais food. The main hall, rehearsal rooms, administrative offices and the Rádio Inconfidência and Rede Minas buildings share the site.

The hall's armchairs were designed exclusively for the space and form part of its acoustic system, providing fixed sound absorption. The ceiling diffusers can change height and angle according to the repertoire, and the sail-shaped walls also shape the sound.
