Bonito

Bonito is a municipality in Pernambuco in northeastern Brazil, situated at about 600 meters (1,970 feet) elevation in hilly terrain. The landscape features varied topography surrounded by natural vegetation and agricultural areas.

Portuguese settlers founded this area in the 16th century and developed agriculture and trade routes across the region. This early settlement established the foundation for the municipality as it exists today.
