Malaka, Administrative regency in East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia.

The Malaka Regency covers 1,195 square kilometers and includes twelve districts with Betun serving as its administrative capital at 119 meters elevation.

In December 2012, Malaka Regency emerged from the southern section of Belu Regency, establishing a new administrative structure in East Nusa Tenggara.

The districts of Malaka Regency maintain traditional ceremonies where local communities display their customs through specific events and gatherings.

The population of Malaka Regency increased from 183,900 in 2020 to 203,606 in 2023, with residents spread across various administrative villages.

Each of the twelve districts in Malaka Regency operates under its own village structure, with Malaka Tengah containing seventeen administrative villages.
