The Australian War Memorial is Australia's national memorial to the members of its armed forces and supporting organizations who have died or participated in wars involving the Commonwealth of Australia.
Opened in 1941, the memorial includes an extensive national military museum.
The Memorial also has an important role in national ceremonies, and it has a large collection of war art and military relics.
It's located in Canberra, the capital city of Australia, and is open daily from 10am to 5pm.
The Memorial's dome contains the Tomb of the Unknown Australian Soldier.
