Cargill's Castle, Victorian mansion on coastal promontory in Dunedin, New Zealand.

The concrete structure stands on elevated grounds facing the Pacific Ocean, featuring stonework details and architectural elements from the Victorian period.

Built in 1877 for Edward Cargill, son of Dunedin's founder, the mansion initially named The Cliffs cost £14,000 to construct under architect Francis Petre.

The mansion represents early concrete construction methods in New Zealand, earning recognition as a Heritage New Zealand Category 1 historic place.

Access to the castle remains restricted due to its deteriorated condition, though visitors can view the exterior structure from designated areas.

The castle grounds connect to Tunnel Beach through a passage carved into coastal cliffs, commissioned by the Cargill family for private beach access.
