Springbrook National Park

Springbrook National Park extends across subtropical rainforest with waterfalls, walking trails, and lookout points offering views of surrounding valleys.

The park gained protection status in 2011 as part of Gondwana Rainforests of Australia World Heritage Area, preserving ancient ecosystems dating back millions of years.

Aboriginal communities maintain strong connections to this land, passing down knowledge about native plants, animal patterns, and seasonal changes through generations.

Visitors can access multiple walking tracks from designated parking areas, with facilities including restrooms, picnic tables, and information boards at main entrance points.

The Natural Bridge formation contains a waterfall that plunges through the roof of a cave, creating an unusual geological structure illuminated by glowworms at night.
