Glass House Mountains, Mountain range in Queensland, Australia
The Glass House Mountains are a group of thirteen hills that rise abruptly from the coastal plain on the Sunshine Coast.
They were named by explorer Captain James Cook during his voyage along Australia's east coast.
The mountains hold spiritual significance to the local Gubbi Gubbi people.
The area is popular for hiking, climbing, and picnicking.
Each mountain has a unique shape, with some resembling certain objects or animals.
