It was opened on October 21, 2001, to alleviate congestion on nearby bridges.
The bridge connects the South Bank Parklands with the central business district.
The structure is used daily by thousands of pedestrians and cyclists.
Art installations and the 'Goodwill Bells' feature along the length of the bridge.
