Goodedulla National Park

The national park contains multiple ecosystems including woodlands, grasslands, and seasonal wetlands that support numerous native plant and animal species.

The Queensland Department of Environment and Science officially designated Goodedulla as a national park on October 23, 1998, to protect its ecological value.

Aboriginal communities maintain strong connections to the area, incorporating the natural features of Goodedulla into their traditional practices and knowledge systems.

Visitors need to bring their own supplies and equipment when exploring the park, as facilities remain minimal throughout the protected area.

The park serves as a research location where scientists document and study native wildlife, including various species of birds, reptiles, and marsupials.
