Manuel Bonilla National Theater

The Manuel Bonilla National Theater is a cultural venue in central Tegucigalpa with pink quarry stone walls forming its exterior structure. The interior contains multiple performance halls, boxes, galleries, and foyer spaces decorated with Honduran landscape designs throughout.

The theater was founded in 1915 during the presidency of Francisco Bertrand after roughly ten years of construction work. Its opening on September 15 marked an important cultural development in the capital.
