Parque Metropolitano La Florida

Parque Metropolitano La Florida is a large public park in Bogota featuring sports facilities such as motocross tracks, soccer fields, tennis courts, basketball courts, and a skating rink. The park also includes a lake for water activities and provides barbecue areas, camping zones, parking, and restrooms.

The park was acquired in 1974 by the Bogota Lottery parks division despite concerns about its remote location at the time. Since then it has grown into a major recreational area for the city.
