Estadio Maracaná

Estadio Maracaná is a football stadium in El Chorrillo with artificial turf, modern lighting, press facilities, locker rooms, and extensive parking. The venue holds approximately 5,500 spectators and ranks as Panama's second largest football facility after Rommel Fernandez Stadium.

The stadium site was built on a landfill dating to the 1970s and officially opened in 2014 after reconstruction as part of the Cinta Costera expansion project. This development transformed a former waste area into a modern sports facility for the city.

Named after the famous Maracanã in Rio de Janeiro, this venue is home to two professional teams that draw local supporters. The stadium has become a gathering place where fans come together to celebrate football and support their hometown clubs.

The stadium is located along Cinta Costera 3 and offers convenient access for visitors. Ample parking is available, and the modern facilities provide comfortable conditions for spectators attending matches.

The facility is undergoing modifications through 2025, including installation of natural grass and expansion to meet FIFA standard field dimensions of 105x68 meters. These improvements will upgrade the venue for international competition standards.
