Wise County

Wise County is an administrative county in north-central Texas that blends suburban areas, small towns, and rural communities across its landscape. The region encompasses diverse terrain where newer residential developments sit alongside established farming and ranching areas.

Wise County was established in 1856 during Texas territorial expansion and was named after Colonel Isaac Wise. The area grew as an agricultural region throughout the 1800s before experiencing development changes in later decades.
