The New Texas Giant is a steel roller coaster located at Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington, Texas.
Originally built in 1990 as the Texas Giant, it was refurbished into the New Texas Giant and reopened in 2011.
It was awarded the Best New Ride of 2011 by Amusement Today.
The ride lasts approximately three minutes and reaches speeds up to 65 mph.
The New Texas Giant was the first roller coaster to use Iron Horse Track, a new type of steel track.
