Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park, Beach state park in Naples, United States

The mile-long barrier island park spans 166 acres of white sand beaches, tidal creeks, and dense mangrove forests along Florida's southwest coast.

The park's name combines Dellora Norris's first name letters with Joe Wiggins, who operated a trading post for Seminole Indians in the late 1800s.

The park maintains natural habitats for loggerhead sea turtles, bald eagles, ospreys, and West Indian manatees through conservation programs and visitor education.

The park opens daily from 8 AM until sundown, charging 6 dollars per vehicle, with beach wheelchairs available for visitors with mobility requirements.

A hard-bottom reef system near the shore creates excellent conditions for snorkeling and underwater photography in the clear Gulf of Mexico waters.
