Gatorama, Crocodile farm in Palmdale, Florida.
Gatorama houses numerous alligators and crocodiles in natural settings, including displays of rare white specimens and endangered Orinoco crocodiles.
The farm began operations in 1957 when Cecil Clemons established the facility, capturing local alligators and acquiring wild crocodiles from Jamaica in the 1960s.
The annual Gator Hatchling Festival in August permits visitors to participate in the hatching process of alligator eggs, promoting wildlife education.
The facility operates Thursday through Monday from 10 AM to 5 PM, with admission tickets ranging from $12.50 to $25.00 for general entry.
Major MacDill, a 12-foot alligator discovered under an aircraft at MacDill Air Force Base, now resides at the farm as a permanent resident.
