Bohemian Grove, Gentlemen's club in California
Bohemian Grove is a restricted 2,700-acre campground in Monte Rio, California, belonging to a private San Francisco–based gentlemen's club known as the Bohemian Club.
In mid-July each year, Bohemian Grove hosts a more than two-week encampment of some of the most prominent men in the world.
The Grove is particularly famous for its 'Cremation of Care' ceremony, which involves a mock sacrifice to banish worries and cares.
Access to Bohemian Grove is strictly limited to members and their guests.
Despite its reputation for secrecy, the Grove has been the subject of several protests and investigations.
