Sick's Stadium, Baseball stadium in Rainier Valley, Seattle, US

The stadium featured natural grass and stood at the intersection of Rainier Avenue and McClellan Street, accommodating up to 25,420 spectators at its peak.

Emil Sick invested 350,000 dollars to construct the stadium in 1938 on the former site of Dugdale Park, which had burned down in 1932.

The stadium hosted the Seattle Rainiers of the Pacific Coast League and later became the first Major League Baseball venue in Seattle with the Pilots in 1969.

The stadium faced operational challenges including low water pressure and insufficient facilities, leading players to shower at their hotels during the 1969 season.

Elvis Presley performed at the stadium in 1957, and Jimi Hendrix gave his last Seattle concert there in 1970 before the venue's demolition in 1979.
