Campbell Valley Regional Park

Campbell Valley Regional Park is a nature reserve near Langley featuring forests, open meadows, and wetland areas that create distinct habitats. A network of walking trails connects different parts of the park, allowing visitors to move between these varied landscapes at their own pace.

The area was logged in the late 1800s by timber companies that built railways to move their harvest. These old rail routes are still visible today along certain hiking trails and serve as reminders of the region's industrial past.

The historic farm buildings and schoolhouse scattered throughout the park show how people lived and worked in this area generations ago. Visitors can walk past these structures and imagine the daily routines of families who shaped this landscape.

The park has two main entrance points on different roads that make it easy to access based on which area you want to explore. The walking paths are unpaved, so sturdy footwear and attention to weather conditions help ensure a comfortable visit.

Hidden within the park is an old racing oval that once hosted motorsport competitions. This curved track remains visible and stands as a surprising reminder of the site's former recreational use.
